![]() ![]() Just one other slight criticism, we didn't have the robes and slippers left for us, but I asked a member of staff and she said to ask at reception for them, but as we didn't use the pool we didn't ask, but it would have been nice if they were already in our room. Towels replenished, bed made, room cleaned. You could walk to Disney if you were energetic enough, but the shuttles are just perfect, they give you a phone number to call if one is not there, but they were usually dropping off so you could jump right in and go back to the hotel. We caught the red Disney Magic shuttles from the airport, and they drop you at the bus station, right next to the RER train station, come out of there and turn left, walk past the RER station, keep going until the end of road, cross over, turn right just past the Brassiere and hey presto The Relais Spa, less than a 10 minute walk. ![]() Every time you went through reception the staff would smile and say Bon jour, they all dressed immaculately. I would definitely stay there again, but would upgrade to a larger room with a balcony, and on a higher level, we had stunning weather whilst we were there and it would have been nice to sit on a balcony in the evenings for a while. A building site right opposite, but that wasn't very noisy at all. But hindsight would have been good, I am a very light sleeper, and found that our room that was just above the reception was a bit noisy with car doors slamming, the hotel weighted door shutting rather loudly, and the road was quite busy with traffic, also couldn't open the window for long because of people smoking outside the reception area and you could smell the smoke, being a non smoker I didn't like that. I had upgraded to a room with 2 single beds, but when we got to our room it was a huge double bed, we were so tired I just couldn't be bothered to go down to reception to change it. It was great having a little kitchenette for making small snacks etc, the shuttle service to take you to DLP was first rate!!!! Check in was fine, they do take a "locals or residence tax" off you, it was just 23 euro's for the 2 of us. My daughter and I have just returned from Disneyland Paris, I chose the Relais Spa because of its location and swimming pool, (sadly we didn't use the pool), but it looked super. The staff were at all times pleasant helpful and courteous especially the shuttle bus drivers. However my daughter was unable to use the facilities as you have to be sixteen. My son used the spa and pool and enjoyed it although being a swimmer he found the pool small. They unexpectedly had a kitchen part to them with a fridge dishwasher and small hob along with pans and utensils. We had adjoining rooms with an interconnecting door which was great and the standard of the rooms was very high, lovely and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was quite pricey so we didn't eat there in the evening but the breakfast was very nice and more than adequate. The hotel run a shuttle bus to Disney regularly throughout the day, so we were able to go back to the hotel for lunch and a break before heading off again for the rest of the afternoon and evening. It was a good decision as our children are teenagers and not at all interested in the full on 24hr Disney experience you get in the hotels in the park. We stayed here for two nights at the end of a holiday in Paris as we were going to Disney for a day. ![]()
